I am using diffmerge for already two years on my windows machine.
Setting up diffmerge as my default git diff and merge tool was done according to : http://coding4streetcred.com/blog/post/ ... t-DiffTool

However I have noticed that on Linux systems (tried on Ubuntu) and MacOS diff functionality acts strange.
When I run 'git difftoold -d branch1..branch2' command, distinct files are not shown in line (considering left and right side), so I cannot just easily double click on the file and see differences (that's how diffmerge acts on windows). Instead, I have to copy path for each file (left and right side) in order to compare them which feels very annoying Is this how diffmerge should work on Unix systems or I am missing something in my configuration?

Can you show me a screenshot of what you see?

What happens if you perform a Folder Diff using only DiffMerge without Git involved? Run DiffMerge and open up the folder diff and use anything or make a test. Does it look or behave differently?
