Search failures

Can anyone tell me how this is possible? I've clicked on a folder, it has one obviously old file in it (old by several days) yet the search on that folder (recursive) for old files returns nothing. Refreshing does nothing either.

How can that happen? And how many other old files is it just forgetting to find? I've had these types of issues in the past with previous versions as well.

If I untick the recursive, it finds it - if I tick recursive, it DISAPPEARS again!

If I click on a higher folder, it does not find it.

This is very concerning, as I have no idea how many files it's not finding!

We can't reproduce this here.

What happens if you refresh the file list?

Is the behavior the same on file searches in other folders?

What about searches on other statuses besides OLD?

I was having a similar issue with Fortress 1.0.6. In my case I mistakenly had my root folder cloaked causing the search to fail.
I turned cloak off and the search works perfectly. I tested cloaking another folder and found that the search will ignore all cloaked folders.

Perhaps you already tried this but I thought I would let you know.
