unable to connect

vers 4.1.2

i am testing a move to a 2008R2 server and i am getting error:

Unable to connect to http://***/VaultService. No server was found at the specified URL. Please verify your network settings using the Options dialog under the Tools menu in the Vault GUI Client. Web Exception: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

same error i try on the server but i do get vaultservice in my browser and vaultservice.asmx
i'm sure it's an IIS7 thing but i am still learning IIS7

It could be that Anonymous Access needs to be enabled for the Vault website.

Note: Vault 4.1.x has not been tested on Windows Server 2008 R2 and is not fully supported.

actually i just went and installed 4.1.4 and it seems to work so far
