All logins are recorded in the Vault server log. By default that is found at %windir%\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log.

I would like to suggest the option of logging the timestamp of last login for a user in to a SG Vault database. Eg. [sgmaster].[dbo].[users] table. For auditing it would be very nice in an easy way to document last login to to Vault Service for users.
The sgvault.log is a termporary file and not suited for auditing purposes.

We now can notify on logins. Would receiving an email with a list of all the logins that day work for you?

One other thing to note, if you're curious about actual activity (commits, labels, etc.), there's an 'activity' report from the web client that shows you the last time someone actually did anything for a repository.

Hi Beth
An email a day with the logins of the days is OK.

In the Vault admin web page under Server Settings, click on Email settings. There you will set up the SMTP server for Vault to use.

After the admin side is set up, you can login to a Vault client and go to Tools - Options - Notifications. Select email notifications and the option to receive it as a digest. Then expand Notifications and click on the Source Control link to select what to receive. To receive only a list of logins, click the Events tab and then only click the Login/Logout action. Click Ok.
