Weird error trying to import

Post by joshyeager » Wed Aug 18, 2004 11:30 am

I am evaluating Vault, and it looks pretty cool! However, when I try to import a VSS database, I get a weird error (see attached images). Any idea what's going on?

Note: I attached the screenshots in the wrong order - prescan.jpg is first, then error.jpg.

Thanks,
Josh Yeager

This screen comes up after I choose the project to import.

After the "prescan" screen, I pass the "create users" screen, and when it starts the import, this error appears.

That is wild. Can you post your import log? If you would rather, you can email it to me. You will find the log file in program files\sourcegear\SourceSafe Import Tool

Here you go. One thing that it could be (I just realized this - I'm stupid) is that we're running VSS 2005 on that box (from another test). Here's the log, in case you want to research it, but I'm just going to try it again w/ 6.0c.
