On windows 8.1/Vault Standard 7.1.0.(2028) under my editor crashes - this has worked for many years! This happens when I first try to configure the SCC provider.

The information you provided says you are on Visual Studio 15.0.1.3. VS 2013 is listed as version 12.0. Are you on a beta version of VS, and if so, for what future version?

Did you install Vault after Visual Studio? If not, uninstall the Vault client and reinstall it.

Are the projects you are working with brand new projects you just made with Visual Studio, or are you upgrading older VS projects to a new version of VS?

Visual Studio is devenv.exe. vs.exe is SlickEdit.

Integration with SlickEdit is not supported. We don't test against that IDE.

When you upgraded, did you make a large leap from an older version of Vault, or did you upgrade from Vault 6.x?

Is the version of SlickEdit you are using supported on Windows 8?

Did you upgrade SlickEdit recently as well?

You might try some of the same suggestions as this KB article: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... 13&t=15034.
