Hey there

I am running Vault Standard 7.2.1 on a Windows 8.1 machine. The shelve/unshelve buttons are missing from the visual studio client. They are usually located in the Vault Pending Changes window.

I've tried both MSI repair and uninstall/reinstall. Is there a compatibility issue with Win 8.1? I dont have older visual studio clients installed.

Did you install Vault after Visual Studio?

Which version of Visual Studio are you using?

Is your project bound to the Vault Classic or Vault Enhanced client?

If you're using the enhanced client, then close your current Pending Changes window, then go to View in Visual Studio and try to select it again.

Hi Beth,

yes i installed Vault after Visual studio was installed. I am using VS 2013 with SP4.

Our projects use the enhanced client. However i ran a test using the classic client and the button was still missing.

I closed all windows and re-opened while enhanced client was enabled, and there was no change, button still missing.

Also tried resetting VS settings using the command line switch devenv /ResetSettings

Hi, support.

I have faced the same issue recently.

Windows 10 PRo x64 (with the latest updates)
MS Visual Studio 2015 Pro (with the latest updates)
Valult client 9.1.0 30584 x64

The same issue and the same behavior. What is the fix?

I think the previous user had an issue with just how the screen was sized causing the buttons to be out of the viewable area. Have you tried different screen and folder settings?
