Can I set a new user's initial options?

Post by mlippert » Thu Dec 02, 2004 3:55 pm

I'd like to be able to set a new user's initial client options.

Such as:
Always request exclusive locks - off
Store working folder data inside working folders - on
Auto-commit after each operation - off
Show snapshots in the folder tree - off

and probably others. I'm not trying to enforce these settings, I just want them to be the defaults for a new user, because these are the settings I expect our department to use in general.

There is not a way to do this right now, but it has been requested before. I'll add your vote to the feature.

User options

Being able to set a users initial option to No Access to any repository would be nice. Then I could just add them to the repositories that I want them to see.

Please add my vote, too. Unless it's already been done, in which case, please update the thread.
