The upgrade worked fine and took 40 minutes as oposed to the test upgrade on different hardware taking 2.5 minutes for our 22GB db. What I did discover during the actual upgrade was that our IIS server is actually running on a PIII which explained a number of speed issues.
Strangly enough our problem started to settle down on thursday/friday last week and haven't surfaced since. We upgraded on Monday night this week with only the problem PC's having the client upgraded. If the problems start happening again I'll definatly be posting back here about it, but for the time being all is fine.
We haven't had the checkin wrongly performing an undo-checkout as a problem more than once for one developer on one occasion a long time ago under the 2.x series.
