3.5 -- can't upgrade from 3.1?

Post by erict » Fri Jul 21, 2006 3:02 pm

Hi all, I get the impression that 3.1 users that don't have a support contract can't upgrade to 3.5 without buying new licenses. Is this so? On another note, there are rumours of an Eclipse plugin client coming; is this part of the new 3.5 or will that be in 4 (the next major release as far as the numbers go).

Thanks,
Eric

Vault 3.5 is free to users with current Gold Support. If you don't have Gold Support, you can purchase it for $99 per client and then upgrade your current licenses at this link:

Gold Support provides you with all product upgrades plus priority for technical support. One Gold Support subscription covers one user for one year.

The Eclipse plug-in is slated for Vault 4.0.
