Multiple instances of SOS server on one physical server

Is it possible to have multiple instances (installs) of the SOS server v4.x on one physical server?

If so, how does one do it with the MSI available from SourceGear?

No. SOS runs as a service and it's not possible to have two instances of the same 4.x service. SOS 3.x and 4.x can run on the same machine because they run as different services.

Is there a particular reason you'd like to have two SOS Servers on the same machine?

One of our teams does not want multiple servers, but would rather have multiple instances. They know the .Net framework will allow for this and asked me to find out if SOS would.

We are still experiencing EXTREME issues with SOS, even after having spent considerable funds upgrading from v3.5.3 to v4.X.
