Using a port other than 80?

Post by rakkar3 » Tue May 09, 2006 2:20 pm

My ISP blocks port 80 traffic. Even if I have my router redirect traffic on another port to port 80, it's no use because I don't see any settings to have Vault Client connect to a different port either. I tried using SSL but it just said

Unable to connect to https://rakkarsoft.dnsalias.com/VaultService. No server was found at the specified URL. Please verify your network settings using the Options dialog under the Tools menu in the Vault GUI Client. Web Exception: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS.

Please help

This is set up via IIS on the server. You can specify the Vault Service to use non standard ports there.

For the client side, the server name in the Connect dialog can have the port number appended to it, such as "vaultserver.domain.com:XX"
