How can we switch to VS 2008 now?

Post by neal007 » Wed Dec 05, 2007 1:46 pm

As you know, VS 2008 is released and many of us are ready to switch. Can you please outline for us how we can use VS 2008 with Vault, what are the things not working, etc. Please outline what we need to know or are we all having to wait and NOT use VS 2008 until you release Vault 4.1 in Feb 2008?

Please give us a KB article or something so we can move forward, Vault is our only hold-up as our 3rd party vendors are already VS 2008 ready.

We're using VS2008 with this x.1 beta without problems...

I'd like details of which client to use, i.e. 4.0.x and the MSSCCI client or use 4.1 with the Vault 2008 client, and what are the known issues with each. We are not going to wait until February, we need to know how to move forward now, not later. Thx

Neal,

Either of those options is fine. We haven't heard of any major issues reportes with the 4.0.5 MSSCCI client or the 4.1 beta VSIP client in Visual Studio 2008.
