Testing with SOS and VS 2008 hasn't been done yet. It will be supported in the next version. I checked it out on my test server, and it shows up with that installation.

Have you tried setting the option in the SOS client under Tools - Options - General to "Make SOS Your Default SCC Provider?"

Yes, I tried SOS like default SCC provider. This action enable SOS provider from VS 2005 but not VS 2008.

Was SOS installed before or after VS 2008? If VS 2008 was installed 2nd, it could be a case of where some registry key is not set. You might try an uninstall and reinstall of your SOS client.

I uninstall SOS client twice without sucess.
I know that other people where SOS + VS 2008 + XP SP2 works fine. The only difference that I have is SO, I have Vista Home Premium.

What is the registry key and what value should have?

Before I go in that direction, verify that your SOS is even working on Vista for you. Are you able to pull it up, check out files, edit them, and check them back in?

I mean, I can operate without problem usign SOS client, but I can't see plugin from VS Tools/Options/Source Control.

I can use from VS 2005 without problem, but, VS 2005 Source Control/Plugin-in Selection have "None" set.

I need to use SOS client with VS 2008.
SOS client work setting registry key? VS 2008 recover the info from registry?

I appreciate any help

As it turns out, we are going to need to make some changes to get SOS working with the combination of Vista and VS 2008. SOS 4.2 came out before Vista and VS 2008. We are currently digging into this and the next release will be thoroughly tested with VS 2008. Until then, it's an unsupported configuration.

You can work with SOS without the IDE integration still.

FWIW, I've been using SOS 4.12 with VS 2008 for some time now without any problems at all.
