VS2008 macro IDE integration

Post by paul-shed » Thu Nov 06, 2008 3:22 am

Hello,

I'm using Vault with VS2008 (professional edition) under Vista and XP. For my C++ projects the Vault (4.1.1) integration works fine.

However, I have also written some VS automation macros which I would like to get into Vault. In the VS macro IDE (which you can get to from the C++ IDE with ALT+F11) under tools/options there is a "Source Control" option where I would expect to be able to select the Vault integration plug in, just like in the VS C++ IDE. However, under the "Plug-in selection" there are no SCC plug in options. So I cannot use Vault from the VS Macro IDE.

So my questions are

1. Does Sourcegear/Vault support the VS2008 macro IDE?
2. If so how do I enable the Vault plug in to appear in the plug-in selection drop down?

I've only installed the 4.1.1 Vault client and that seems to be enough for the C++ IDE. Also I've got "Make Vault you default SCC provider" checked in the Vault client.

Regards,

Shed

Vault does not support Visual Studio macro IDE integration. I have logged feature request for this functionality, item 13805
