vs.net 2003 / windows server 2003

When trying to use the vault integration component in visual studio .net 2003 on windows server 2003, I keep receiving an "Unspecified error". The vault integration component will allow me to browse the vault server to choose server bindings, add the solution to source control, however when the vault integration tries to actually make those changes, it doesn't work. I'm using vault 1.2.3 (758), sql server 2000 with sp3. Has anyone else experienced this?

Updating to 2.0 fixed my problem. And 2.0 runs faster.
