_sgbak

I have some _sgbak folders on my local hard drive in a project. Is it OK to delete them?

Those folders hold files that were overwritten during a Get. This is particularly helpful if you made changes to a file, overwrote it during a Get, and then decided you needed those changes after all. The file with the changes would have been placed in a _sgbak folder. You can delete these, but once deleted, the overwritten files can't be recovered by Fortress. The next time you overwrite a file again, Fortress will create a new _sgbak folder and place the overwritten file there.

If you want _sgbak to take up less space, the number of backup files to keep can be specified in your Vault - Tools - Options - Local Files - Backup Location under Limit Number of Backup Files To.
