Cannot chnage the type of an item in v7.0

Hi,
We have upgraded to Vault 7.0 and now have a problem with changing the type of an item (from say bug to enhancement).
1) click on modify in the item page.
2) select a different type from the drop-down.
3) click save.

Nothing changes, no errors in the log nothing, but if I do the same process using the vault client it works, any ideas?

What web browser and version are you using?

we are using Firefox v24 or IE10 and have the same problem with both browsers.

Hmm. I was able to reproduce it. I've logged bug 17443 and should be fixed in the next release. Thanks letting us know.

We haven't yet set a date for the next release.

In the meantime, a workaround would be to change the Type in the Vault GUI Client.

Enter the Item ID in the Work Item tracking menu bar at the bottom of the client, then change the type in the work item.
