Hello Beth,

yes, we still have the issue.

I think have installed Visual Assist a few years ago, but not with Visual Studio 2015 and not currently.

I would create the dummy sample as soon as possible and give you a response.
Do users perform the Open from Source Control (or Open from Vault) action more than once on a solution? Once something is bound, you then use either the shortcuts for recent solutions or open the .sln from disk instead of another Open from Source Control.
I think the normal usage is to open the sln per double click in Explorer and then until work is finished, closing this VS instance.

Hello Beth,

now i create a new Project with VS2015 and store it at vaultdemo.sourcegear.com Initial Repository.
My files are in Folder $\mb-mk.

After initial Checkin i open a txt-File from somewhere of my Laptop. Nothing happens, only the file is opened in VS Editor. After that i tried a cpp from the same Folder as the txt-File (outside the solution Folder). When i open this cpp my Studio Shows the following:

My Vault Client Looks after that:

As an update, we may have pinpointed the change in VS 2015 that causes temp files to be added. It's logged with the developers and is expected to be fixed with Vault 10.

The work-around is to turn off single file intellisense.

Thanks for the update. We're also digging into finding a code solution around this in Vault 10 so you can leave the option enabled.
