Using Diffmerge v4.2.1, constantly crashing on on Macbook pro M1 with macos Sonoma 14.1.1. Was crashing regularly before OS upgrade too.

Hello,

You were experiencing crash problems prior to the upgrade to Sonoma 14.1.1, were they random? And now that you've upgraded, DiffMerge crashes every time? Does the crash happen immediately?

Our developers have looked at this issue and confirmed it looks like a bug, but the cause is not obvious, and others with similar machines are not seeing the problem. We will need to try and allocate some time to investigate at a deeper level.

I can confirm I am having the same issue. After opening several files for diff, the app crashes. Repeatedly. No way around it. Apple M2 Max, Sonoma 14.4.1.
