64Bit library for MSSCCI-API

Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
Latest update below:
Progress is still being made towards a 64-bit DLL. The new version of Vault will use the .NET 4.8 Framework (current release uses .NET 2) to target both 64-bit and 32-bit environments. The Vault Client DLL hosts a .NET runtime engine when invoked, and the method for doing that has changed from .NET 2 to .NET 4, so that portion of the code has to be re-written. Assuming we do not run into any unforeseen obstacles we’re hopeful to have a preview in June.

Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
We are looking for some additional details in regards to this feature. For those of you who are using the MSSCCI-API with MS Access, what version of Access do you have installed?
Thanks,

Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
We use Access 2010 and the most recent Access 365 Current Channel release in parallel.
Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
We are not yet using your product but our target version for Vault is Access 2019 64-bit with a likely fairly quick migration to Office 365 a year or so after we are deployed onto 2019. Currently we are using 2013 32-bit with Microsoft Visual SourceSafe plus Ivercy and are moving to Office 2016 32-bit as an interim step, also with VSS and Ivercy.

Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
I've not seen any updates since June on this and it is now September. What is the current plan for delivering a beta 64-bit MSSCCI provider for Vault? We need to make a decision on what source code control product Boeing will decide on and the provider is the main holdup at the moment. Thank you!
Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
Hello again,
Quick question for you (alanbdahl) do you have Vault license keys? Are you currently using Vault as your version control tool? We are unable to locate your email address in our customer service portal tied to any type of licensing.
We have a pre-release build that we are making available to our customers who have maintenance.
Thanks,
Tonya

Re: 64Bit library for MSSCCI-API
We do not have a license yet, I was awaiting confirmation that the provider exists before requesting a license. I will get the ball rolling then. Thanks!
