Unable to validate selection

When using the eclipse plugin for Vault, we attempted to share a flex 3 project .
When prompted to select a repository folder we received this error message:

Failed to Validate Selection
Unable to validate selection.
Reason:
Resource '/(name of another project already added to the repository)' is not open.

It seems unreasonable that we would have to have every project open just to add another.

Is there a fix or a work-around for this?

We've logged a bug and are looking into this further. I don't have a workaround yet that doesn't involve moving things to other workspaces.
