.Net Framework 1.1 SP1 Causes Vault Client to hang

This KB article applies to Vault versions prior to 2.0.6.
Installing .Net Framework 1.1 SP1 may cause your client to hang if you select the Status Search Pane, or cause it to not come up at all if the Status Search Pane was the last pane that was active prior to exiting Vault.

To correct the problem, you must update the client to the 2.0.6 (or later) version of Vault.

You can work around the problem in earlier versions of Vault by deleting the registry key:


and not selecting the Status Search Pane until you can upgrade to 2.0.6
