Basic ERs or How Tos on External Users

Is it possible to customize the External Users Add and response without using VS?

One of our users thought it might be valuable to do the following:
a) have the site say something more than just "An item has been added."
b) refer to the project itself
c) possibly remove the name Dragnet (someone made a joke about watching too many cop shows in our company - which isn't that funny because we have a very strict license policy which makes the joke a little hard for some users to get)

We did provide an AddItemExternal web service function so users could customize this feature to suit their individual needs.

You can make your own Add External Item page using the Dragnet Web Service and customize it however you want.
