Updating Dragnet Suggestions

I like the ability to update bugs in Dragnet through Vault when checking in files. Here's a couple of suggestions that would make it even better, for me, at least

When checking in provide the ability to:

(1) assign a status instead of just marking the item as completed. A dropdown list of the status codes you use for the project would be ideal.

(2) along with being able to assign a specific status give us the ability to assign the item to another user, again using a dropdown list of users assigned to that project.

We have a feature request for something similar. I'll add your specific request for the ability to edit status and assignee.

Update -- Vault 3.1 with Dragnet 1.0.3 *does* allow editing of most bug details on checkin, including Type, Priority, Assignee, Category, Milestone, etc.

Vault 3.1 is currently in Beta2, if you'd like to try it:

Well I'll be. I takes a little digging to find it but you are right it is there.

For those of you that haven't found it yet and you're using the 3.1 beta follow these steps

1 - Click Pending Checkins
2 - Select the Advanced option
3 - Browse on the Update bugs dialog
NOTE: I've found a bug that I'll report in the 3.1 beta forum.
4 - Click on the Item you want to select - click in the description column and the details button becomes enabled.
5 - Click Enabled and update as needed.
