Hi, this may be a strange question, but how does Gold Support work?

Can I purchase licenses now without Gold Support, then later purchase Gold Support when a new version comes along?

When new versions come along, if you have Gold Support is the upgrade free or does Gold Support simply give you the ability to you upgrade, but you still have to pay some type of license fee for the upgrade?

Sorry if these questions are strange, but $2599 is a lot different from $1499 for a small company that doesn't know if it is going to need to upgrade to newer versions.

Gold support gives you free upgrades for one year from the purchase of the gold support. If you decide not to buy gold, you can buy it later when an upgrade comes out
