HTTP 401 is returned from a POST to VaultService.asmx
I believe this is happening because I changed the default content pages on the site. What should be the default content pages for the VaultService and the VaultShadowFolder virtual directories and the web site itself? The web client works without trouble, it is the Vault client which reports this er...

Is there a Mac version of the Vault client?
The web version doesn't allow checkout/checkin that I can tell. If there is not, I believe it would be a good idea to write one for this reason: I keep our web sites in Vault and my graphics artist and marketing group use a Mac for their work. I would rather keep that touchy bunch as happy as possib...

Thank you
This worked. Thanks.
Note, I didn't have to re-install Vault. I changed the db server name in the web.config file since I am using the same user to access the database.

Migrating Vault 3.1 from SQL Server 2000 to 2005
My plan is to backup the database from SQL Server 2000 and restore it on the 2005 server. Then I'll modify the web.config file to point to the new server.
Do you see any problems in doing this?
Thanks.

Configured the domain and now it works
I did not have that setting configured. I configured it and it works now. I looked at the article: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=2953 But the article is confusing. It referes to something called the 'Domain Security Policy' tool. Which doesn't exist on this server. The server does, h...

Invalid password error when I connect to new server
I am in the process of moving sites on an old web server to a new one. One of the sites is vault. I installed vault on the new server and kept the database on a seperate server. During installation, I used a custom domain account for access to the SQL Server. This is the same domain account on the o...

History does not show correct timestamp for label operations
The timestamp I see in the history for a label operation is different from the actual time the label operation was completed. It seems to show the same timestamp as the last checkin operation. I've attached a screen shot which shows what I am seeing. Here is a breakdown of my operation times and wha...

Making admin rights granular to the repository level
I don't believe I've see a way to do this, but I would like to be able to assign repository administrators who can manage the permissions of projects within that repository. A global admin would be the one to create users and assign them licenses to Vault, but the repository admins would be the ones...

Authorizing users from an Active Directory security group
This would be an item on my wish list. Instead of adding users through the Vault Admin tool, I'd like it to read the users from an AD security group. In that way, I can manage my users' access to Vault via AD and simply adding or removing them from the security group. I would still use the Vault gro...

I get the same error
I've tried connecting to the .asmx page and using a local Vault client on the machine.
In both cases, I get the same error message.

Will future upgrades of dragnet overwrite my new statuses?
It seems like the status changes are done at the database level on a lookup table. If I add more statuses, will a future upgrade of Dragnet overwrite this table and force me to re-add the statuses?

Creating new bug statuses
Is it possible to create my own status codes for a bug? For example, I'd like to create a status of 'Sent to Tester' or 'Sent to Graphics'
And is it possible to filter by these statuses?
