Checking in empty folders

In Fortress 1.1.2 64bit I ran into a minor problem if I add a folder to the VS2008 project but didn't add any files in the folder. Fortress correctly identifies that it needs to create the folder but when it tries to check in all, it says it failed with "The Check-In/Commit Transaction failed" It says to see message pane for more info but I couldn't find that pane. Where is it exactly?

A few months ago I submitted a ticket because I was having trouble installing Fortress 1.0 on a 64-bit system. When I installed version 1.1.2 it installed without any issues.

Those messages are posted to Visual Studio's output pane. There's more info in the FAQ.
